About Us

The Cotswold Cookery School is based in the beautiful village of Ashton Keynes, which is situated on the edge of the Cotswold Water Park and a 10-minute drive from the market town of Cirencester.

The business is run by Sarah, who trained at Leith's School of Food & Wine in London and Mel, a professional nutritionist.

We offer event catering and event management around Gloucestershire and Wiltshire for weddings, celebrations, canape parties, shooting lunches, funerals, festivals, business breakfasts and lunches, and provide private dining to the holiday homes situated on and around the Cotswold Water Park.


Our food

Food, to us, is health, family, friends and fun.  Gathered around a table, we're all about feeding delicious dishes to our kids, best mates, loved ones, partners, colleagues and customers.  We are seeing a growing demand for vegan, vegetarian and specialist dietary requirements and are experienced in providing a range of exciting menus to this growing client base.


We run a small number of cookery classes, and we cook using quality, seasonal produce, sourced locally from artisan suppliers wherever possible.  The recipes we use aren't complicated and don’t use pages of ingredients.  They're tried and tested by our chefs and nutritionist to ensure they’re fail safe and easy to follow.

Your kids will cook and take home a meal for four.  That's dinner sorted!

We run a morning session from 9.30am-12.30pm and an afternoon session from 2pm-5pm.

Halloween...Pumpkin curry & chocolate cobweb cake.

10th & 22nd December

Christmas cake & edible festive gifts.  This is one course spread over two dates...On the 10th December the children will be making their own Christmas cakes and then returning to us on the 22nd to decorate them.  On both sessions we'll also be making some extra edible gifts.

Adult Foraging Courses

Led by expert forager, Rob Gould, The Cotswold Forager, join us to forage around Bibury, then head to the trout farm to catch your own trout.  We'll teach you how to gut and fillet it, then it's onto a foraged cocktail whilst we BBQ our trout with our foraged larder of fresh herbs, flowers and leaves..  If you'd like to know a bit more about Rob, do visit his website.

If you'd like a private class, or you're visiting the area and would like us to come to your holiday home to teach you and / or your children how to cook a delicious three course meal, please get in touch.

We work with our friend, The Cotswold Forager, on an ongoing basis and are happy to arrange private foraging and cookery sessions.



The Kitchen Club
